Our Land Clearing Process
The Clear Path Plan puts the goals, boundaries and chosen finish into a shared understanding before the work begins.
Before a machine comes on your land
Your knowledge of the property matters. Point out the things that are hard to see through the brush and make clear which growth should remain.
Read the full preparation guide- Make sure there is a gate or opening wide enough for equipment; the estimate confirms what is needed.
- Point out buried lines, septic systems, water lines, wells, old wire, rocks and soft ground.
- Mark boundaries and anything that stays.
- Secure pets and livestock.
- Keep people out of the work area while the machine runs.
The ground has a say
Wet or soft ground can rut under equipment, so conditions may move the start date. Access and the selected work area both need to be considered. Raise any change in conditions during planning.
What happens after clearing
Mulch settles with weather and traffic. Some brush can resprout. During the Review step, raise questions about the finished area and talk through upkeep and the places you will want to observe.
